AGE 96 YEARS

Myrtle E Wagner, formerly of Vincent Avenue, Watsontown, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Evangelical Community Hospital. She had been residing at Milton Health and Rehab for the past few years.

Born December 13, 1921 in Balls Mills, Lycoming Co., she was the daughter of the late Leveritt Earl and Myrtle (Hyde) Bower. She was married to Carl F. Wagner, Jr. who preceded her in death on November 14, 1986.

She was a graduate of Eastern Pilgrim College in Allentown and a devoted homemaker.

She was a very active volunteer with the Watsontown Alliance Church, where she had attended church earlier in life.

Surviving are three sons: Donald “Tim” Wagner, Danville; Larry J. Wagner, Milton; and Wesley E. Wagner and his wife Maureen, Strasburg; six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and two sisters: Pauline Wallace in Florida and Virginia McGrenra in Massachusettes.

Preceding her in death besides her husband were her brother, Earl Duane Bower; three sisters: Inez Finch, Cleda Kurtz, and Wanda Irene McKee; and a daughter-in-law, Sandy Wagner.

A graveside service will be held at Fountain Hill Cemetery, Fountain Hill, Lehigh County, PA
