Louise was a dedicated wife mother and a faithful member of former Euclid Avenue Baptist Church now known as the Shepherd of the Hills Baptist Church. A woman of many talents, she loved all her children and grandchildren and was a willing servant of GOD. Louise loved her Lord and Savior and was a student of the Bible. All who knew her were blessed by her giving and loving spirit.
Louise loved her hometown. She attended Rule High School in Knoxville and worked and served many at Kay’s Ice Cream for over 35 years. She spent many hours volunteering in her church and serving others. What a special place for her and James Edward to raise a family, work, attend church and make lifelong friends and love life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Darcus Finchum; husband of 60 years James Edward Pack. She was the last surviving sibling of 9 children born to James and Darcus Finchum. They were Helen, Sally, Janie, Ednora, Mack, Sam, Fred and Nancy.
She is survived by her son James Edward Pack Jr and her daughter Vickie Lynn Humphrey (Steve); grandchildren Stephanie Humphrey Sayne (Shannon), Ellisha Humphrey Frye (Chad), Stephen Cody Humphrey (LeAnne); great-grandchildren Skylar, Syler, Eason, Schuler, Raeleigh, Cael, Elite, Beau and Boone; and her special niece Anna Bellamy and very many faithful and special friends.
Our sincere appreciation to Summit Medical Group and their entire staff especially Dr. Jeffery Drinnen along with Tennova Hospice of Halls (Stephanie, Molly, Holly, Amanda, Lisa and Donna) for all of the great love and care they extended to our beloved Louise.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm, Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, with a celebration of Louise’s life to follow at 7:00 pm, with Rev. Leland Lyons officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2:45 pm, Friday, March 2, 2018 at Highland Memorial Gardens for a graveside service at 3:00 pm. Honored to be pallbearers are her grandchildren, Shannon and Stephanie Sayne, Chad and Ellisha Frye, Cody and LeAnne Humphrey.
