Thomas E. Tice, age 89, of Mansfield, PA, died Sunday, September 14, 2008, at Broad Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Wellsboro, PA. Tom was born February 22, 1919 in Mainesburg, PA, a son of Harry and Goldie (Griffin) Tice. He was the husband of Ruth E. (McKay) Tice for 67 years. Tom was a member of the Canoe Camp Church of Christ (Disciples). He was a lifelong farmer.
Tom is survived by his wife, Ruth; three sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas G. and Linda A. Tice of Mansfield, PA, David W. and Mary Tice of Mansfield, PA, Jack L. and Joyce Tice of Boise, Idaho; three daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara A. (Phil) Parker of Tioga, PA, Linda M. Tice of Mansfield, PA, Sandy L. Tice of Rutland, VT; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; two sisters, Helena VanHorn of Troy, PA, Betty Lou of Canton, PA.
Tom was predeceased by a daughter, Ruthadele Smith; and a grandson, Shane Michael Smith.
