PRICE - Ezra Branch, 87, died May 9, 1977, Salt Lake City, after a long illness.
Born July 12, 1889, Price, to Eugene E. and Jane Blake Branch. Married Violet Hanson August 28, 1912 in the Salt Lake City Temple. She died October 18, 1974.
Long-time rancher and miner. Was member of the Hiawatha Local United Mine workers of America. A member of the Cattlemen's Association. Honorary life-member of the Carbon County Sheriff's Posse. Active High Priest.
Survivors: 3 daughters, Mrs. Vaughn (Juanita) Pettey, Mrs. Joseph (Virginia) Holman, both Salt Lake City; Mrs. Weber (Bernice) Hopkins, Sandy; 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. Olive Golding, Provo; Mrs. Frank (Essie) Liddell, Wellington, Utah.
Funeral Thursday 1 p.m. in the Price 2nd Ward LDS Chapel. Burial in the Wellington City Cemetery.
