Mr. George Alan Frederick, 56, of Luthersville, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018, at his home.

Mr. Frederick was born September 26, 1961, in Decatur, son of the late George Stanley Frederick and Theresa Elizabeth Wills Frederick. A resident of Meriwether County most of his life, he was a graduate of Greenville High School, was a carpenter, and was employed by Cedar Post Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Frederick of Luthersville; son, Josh Frederick and his wife, Lane of Warm Springs; daughter, Jessica Scott and her husband, Bryan of Sharpsburg; brothers, Mark Frederick and his wife, Terry, and Leonard Frederick, all of Luthersville; and grandchildren, Shawn David, Landon, Brooklyn, Brianna, Hunter, Michael, Athena, Ian, and Valery.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 1, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Eddie Markward officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 until 2 Thursday afternoon.
