Married John Wilkinson May 4, 1857, marriage performed by E. T. Noel of the Methodist Church. Marriage recorded page 330 of the records of Lincoln County, Book B. She lived only a few years after her marriage, died in Pike County, and was reported to be buried at Ramsey Creek. Her husband married again in 1865, was divorced, then moved to California.

Elizabeth was a daughter of Oliver Simonds (1797–1879, m. 9/23/1834 Lincoln Co, MO) and Lucy Wilkinson (1801–1856).
She married on 5/3/1857 in Lincoln Co, MO to John Madison Wilkinson (1837–1922), son of James Wilkinson (1788–1855, m. 1826 Lincoln Co, MO) and Temperance Knight (1796–1873).
