(August 15, 1941 - February 19, 2018)

Nancy Trip
Nancy Jane Birley Trip of Bandera graduated to her heavenly home on Monday, February 19, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas.

Nancy was born in Moweaqua, Illinois on August 15, 1941 to Jim and Virginia Birley.

Nancy and Robert Larry Trip were married for 47 wonderful years. During these years they made their home in Tomball, Texas, but were able to enjoy numerous jeeping vacations, and spending time with family and friends. Later in their marriage, and upon retirement, they traveled and explored the country in their RV, living the term Home is where you Hook Up.

Nancy grew up in the Tulsa, OK, community of Berryhill and graduated from Berryhill High School in 1959. Eventually she made Texas her home. Nancy finished out her professional career at Kemp Instruments, of Houston, Texas.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved sister Judy Birley Atkins.

Nancy is survived by her husband Robert Larry of Bandera, Texas; one daughter Melody Jane and her husband Robert Scott Trip of Llano, Texas, bonus daughter Renee Trip of Blanco Texas, bonus son William Alfred Trip and wife Diane of Boerne Texas; eight grandchildren, Dalenne Garcia and husband Mike, Lorren Carrasco and husband Brandon, Travis Vickers, Olivia Vickers, Winston Trip, Austin Trip, Bailey Trip, Andrew Trip; four great-grandchildren, Gavin and Gracelyn Garcia, Jordan and Christian Amendt and one aunt, Fran Stout. God love it Niece Elizabeth Busten, one great nephew, Cody Titterington as well as many dear cousins and close family friends.

Nancy loved her family. She was an amazing Wife, Mother, Nanny, Sister, Aunt Lancy, Aunt Fancy, Cousin, and Friend. She was very giving and welcomed all with open arms. No matter what the occasion, a Christmas Eve Party or a gathering at the RV Park she spread her love to all, whether you knew her 5 minutes or 15 years. A student of the Virginia Birley School of Introduction, Nancy was the first to have her hand out saying "Hello Jesus, I'm Nancy Trip."

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February, February 24, 2018, at the Mason Funeral Home, from 11:00-1:00. Funeral service follows at 1:30 in the Mason Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Gooch Cemetery.
