Carolyn Gayle Goff, 69, of Chesterfield passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. Born April 19, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Perkins and Gracie Grissom, and was also preceded in death by her husband, George Burge Goff, Jr.; daughter, Barbara Jean Goff; brothers, Woodrow, Bobby and Carl Grissom; and sister, Margie Matthews. Carolyn was retired from Defense General Supply Center. She is survived by her son, Paul B. Goff, his wife, Tasha, and their children, MariBeth and Lauren; daughter, Tabatha Mitchell, her husband, Tommy, and her children, Brittany, Laci and Brady; 3 grandsons, Joshua, Cody, and Tyler; brothers, Harry, Ricky, and David Grissom; and sisters, Margaret Cleaton, Gracie Hite, Jane Grubb and Brenda Cox. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with Pastor Bob Lamb officiating. Inurnment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, S. Prince George.
