**** OBITUARY ****

A. P. Barman Dies at Home At Age of 69

Albert P. Barman, 69, died at his home, 681 Saunders Ave., at 7:45 a.m. today after being ill for the past three weeks.

Born in Holland, Mr. Barman lived in this community all of his life except during 1934 to 1950 when he lived in Zeeland.

He retired from his employment at the Chris-Craft Corp. in August of 1966. He was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon and an elder for many years. He also served as a Sunday School teacher for many years.

The Barmans celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary in September of 1967.
Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret Vanden Berg; one daughter, Mrs. Gerrit G. (Eleanor) Klomp of Lake Odessa; two sons, Paul E. of Holland and Robert D. of Hamilton; 15 grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Katherine Knoll of Zeeland, Mrs. Martin Van Hekken of Holland, Miss Laurina Bareman of Grand Haven and Mrs. Janet Gaillard of Holland; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Adrian Bareman of Arcadia, Calif.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Notier Ver Lee-Langeland Chapel with the Rev. Arthur R. Pyke and the Rev. John Lanting officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may meet the family Sunday from 3 to 5 and Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
