Grover Raymond Acree Jr., 91, of Arlington, TN, passed away on January 15, 2018.

He was a WWII Navy Veteran and retired from a 37 year career with AT&T. Mr. Acree was a lifetime member of the AT&T Pioneers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover Raymond Acree Sr. and Aline Dawson Acree, his sister, Mildred Schneller, and his step-daughter, Patricia Crick.

Mr. Acree is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pauline Acree, his daughters, Ruth Nobles (Bob), Lynn Payne (Fred), Laura Le Duc (Jeff), his step-daughter, Charlene Person (Bruce), his step-son, Mike Lovett (Teresa), one brother, Robert Acree (Juanita), four grandchildren, Dee Crick (Emily), Lisa Scott (Danny), Matt Lovett (Nicole), Rachel Payne, and two great grandchildren, Blakelea and Anna.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the West Tennessee Veterans Home, https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/project100
