Thomas was the son of John Stephenson1710-1777 and Sarah Waite Stephenson.
It is thought that Thomas may have been buried at the Stephenson Cemetery 4/10 mile straight east of his house where marker fragments have been found above ground. Descendants did live on the original Preemption for several years after 1792.
Thomas and Elizabeth "Betty"( Logan) Stephenson had the following children: Isabell Stephenson Hall; Jean Stephenson Reburn ; Peggy Stephenson Wilson; David Stephenson(m.Edith Logan Stephenson); James Stephenson (m. Salley Hall Stephenson); and Robert Stephenson (m. Elizabeth Whitley Stephenson)
Our family would be very grateful if anyone reading this memorial has more information and especially corrections to our information.
