"Mrs Rose Gesin Allen, wife of Harry Allen, died last Thursday at her home in Mayburg, Forest county, after two days' illness with pneumonia, following influenza. She was a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs C W Gesin of Tionesta, and was born on Aug 7, 1890, at Kelly Hill, five miles from Tidioute. Besides the husband she leaves the following brothers and sisters: Charles E Gesin of East Hickory, William Gesin of Marienville, Ralph Gesin of Oklahoma, Fred Gesin of Gilfoyle, Clarence Gesin of Dempseytown, Mrs Charles Saratori of East Hickory, Mrs Frank Hahn of Nebraska, Mrs Ola Stover of Kellettville and Mrs S J Williams of McGraw. Private funeral services were conducted at 1 pm, Friday, Rev E W Chiltester of the Kellettville M E church officiating. The interment was made in the McKean cemetery in Limestone township."
