Charles E. Campbell, 70, a well known retired farmer of the Ozark community, passed away at his home in Ozark at one o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 26. Mr. Campbell was born in Arkansas but had lived in the Ozark community since early childhood. He was a successful farmer but was forced to retire several years ago because of poor health. Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Eliza Campbell of Kansas City, Mo.; two sons, Clifford of San Bruno, Calif., and John of the home in Ozark; one daughter, Mrs. Irene Woody of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; two brothers and two sisters and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock in the Chaffin Funeral Home with Rev. Reg Mapes officiating. Burial will be made in the Linden cemetery.
