Geneva Pearl Adkison
Graveside services were held Tuesday, January 19, at 11 a.m. at the Shafter Memorial Park for Geneva Pearl Adkison, age 66, who passed away January 16, 1987, in Bakersfield. Elder Paul Johnson of the Shafter Seventh-Day Adventist Church officiated and interment followed.
Mrs. Adkison was born November 26, 1920, to William and Lydia (Voth) Johnson in Sykeston, North Dakota. Her parents moved to California when she was three years old, and she was raised and lived in Shafter all of her adult life.
She is survived by her husband, Lee Adkison of Bakersfield; mother Lydia Johnson of Loma Linda; two sisters, Darlene Johnson of Loma Linda and Martha Jane Thesman of Yucaipa; and many relatives and friend
