Mrs. A. A. Wood Dies in Hospital
Mrs. Edna M. Wood, 8551 Gaskin Road, Baldwinsville, died yesterday in Crouse-Irving Hospital after a short illness.
A native of Syracuse, she had lived in this area all her life. She was a retired office worker. She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church, and a member of its Women’s Society.
She is survived by her husband, Albert A. Wood; five sisters, Mrs. Bernice Bower, Mrs. L. G. MacDonald, Mrs. Earle Hooper, Mrs. Harold Granish and Mrs. Donald Filer; two brothers, Earl and John Stoddard, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Friday at the Frasier Funeral Home, and 9 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, where the body will be blessed. A solemn high Mass of requiem will be offered 9 a.m. Monday in the church.
Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home 1217 N. Salina St.
