Barbara is survived by her daughter, Kathy S. Edrington of Terre Haute; granddaughter, Kristina J. Smith and husband Ryan of Terre Haute; four great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Peyton, Abbey, and Tyler; special friends, Mark and Jane McGrew of Rosedale; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James A. Pittenger; a granddaughter, Katrina McGrew; a sister, Margaret Wright; and a brother, Robert Egloff.
Barbara was a member of Rio Grande Baptist Church. She was on the board of directors at Torner Girl's Club of America for many years. Barbara was musically talented. She played the piano and was the former director of the Terre Haute Women's Choir. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching their ball games.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018, at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Allissa Williams officiating. Barbara will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Park. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at:
