In Memoriam Lon Edward Bottcher, former resident of Tamuning, Guam.

A bright light has gone out of our lives. Lon peacefully slipped away from us on February 9, 2018 due to complications from heart failure at Presbyterian Hospital in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, surrounded by his loving family.

Lon Edward Bottcher was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

He taught at colleges in South Dakota and Colorado. He was a science teacher on Guam at John F. Kennedy High School and at Guam Community College. He served as president of the Guam Federation of Teachers.

A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Charter Oak Christian Church, followed by the interment at Grant Evergreen Cemetery in Talmage, Nebraska.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt "Thank You"—"Si Yu'us Ma'ase" to friends and colleagues for the love, comfort and support during this sad and difficult time.
