Pauline (Benzenhafer) Rust was born on June 3, 1908 in Davidson County, Tennessee, the daughter of Johann Christopher Benzenhafer (1857–1930) and Emma (Linck) Benzenhafer (1875–1934).

She was married to Chester M Rust (1916–1986), the son of Ezra Vernon Rust (1897–1970) and his 1st wife Nora Lee (Brady) Rust (ca 1896– ).

Living in Davidson County, Pauline was 87 years old when she passed away on November 23, 1995.

Survivors included sisters Emma Hastings, Louise Jahn and Rachael Bates.

Graveside Services were held in Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville.
