Life Legacy

Relda Lucille Cable Predmore, age 91, passed away on February 10, 2018 in St George, Utah. She was born in Twin Falls, Idaho to Francis John Cable and Julia Farley.

Relda spent her early years on a dairy farm in Twin Falls, moved to Hawthorne, NV in 1942 where she met her husband Everet Predmore. They were married November 9, 1942 and later were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple on August 29, 1960. She held many callings in the Relief Society organization of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked as a teller for a bank in Babbitt, NV and later as a Human Resources Director for a large department store.

She loved bowling and traveled the US participating in tournaments winning many awards and trophies. They moved to Falls Church, VA in 1956 where they both retired in 1972 and moved to Mapleton, UT to be closer to family. Everet passed away in 2001 at the age of 80. Her life was her daughter, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She loved her family. She never missed a birthday and she enjoyed spending her later years with her daughter Durinda in Las Vegas, NV.

Relda is survived by her daughter Durinda Ann Stewart (Randy) of Ivins, UT; step-son Arden Jeffers (Janice) of West Valley City, UT; brother Wayne Cable (Claudine Mangum) of Bountiful, UT; sisters Barbara Meyers of Colville, WA; Shirley Cable of Reno, NV; Joyce Cable of Napa, ID; grandchildren David Stewart (Susie Ostler), Derrick (Sherry Williams), Damon (Sandi Barnhart), Darla (Dan Jones), Danielle (Dustin Bruening), Dana (Jared Wells); and 23 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter Rhadel Predmore, brothers Alvin and Daris Cable, sister Luretta Speirs, brothers-in-law Harrison Speirs and Warren Meyers.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 19, 2018 at 10:00 am at the LDS Chapel located at 1215 N 1000 W, Mapleton, UT. A viewing will be held at the church from 9:00 am to 9:45 am. Interment will be at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery, all under the direction by Southern Utah Mortuary.
