Theodore was the second son born to George Washington Garrison and his second wife Dica Matilda (nee Pryor) Garner Garrison.
Theodore's father died when he was 10 years old. His fathers will was dated 9 Aug 1913, probated on 29 Sep 1913, provided for his Dica, minor sons "George Washington Garrison, Jr" and Theodore Rosevelt Garrison".

Theodore grew up in Mount Vernon, Missouri. On 15 Aug 1925, Theodore and Ada M. Mosher were married in Carthage, MO. Theodore and Ada had one son, Joseph "Joe" Ray Garrison (1926-1971)

At sometime in late fall or winter of 1927, Theodore met Aubra "Audrey" Leon Bennett (1905-1975) Theodore and Aubra had a son who was born in 1928 in Illinois and immediately placed for adoption.

Theodore and Ada at sometime between mid to late 1927 and 1935 removed from Missouri. In 1940, Theodore, Ada and their son Joe were residing in Fresno, Fresno County, CA. The census records indicate Theodore was residing in Fresno in 1935.

According to a newspaper article published on 16 Nov 1937, Ada separated from Theodore on 15 Jan 1937 and filed for divorce in Nov 1937.

By 1940, Theodore had remarried. He and his new wife Effie were residing in Alisal, Monterey County, CA.

According to phone directories, in 1944, Theodore and Effie were residing in San Francisco where he was employed in as a Shipyard Worker.

According to California Death Index, Theodore R. Garrison, born in Missouri, died Fresno County, CA. A Social Security Number is recorded on the index however a Social Security Application, or Social Security Death Index Record has not been found.

Additionally, there has been no record been found to indicate he registered for WWII draft as required.

If anyone knows more about Theodore and his place of burial, please pass on this information. His son, placed for adoption is still living and would love any information on Theodore.
