Karen was the second of four daughters born to Dollie and Stanley George. She was born in Sabetha, Kansas.

Karen had three sisters. Janelle Thomas, Sandra Carlisle and Dianna Batts.

The family moved to So California in 1955. Karen graduated from EL Rancho High School in Pico Rivera in 1963.

Attending Church In The Barn in El Monte since their arrival in So Cal, Karen eventually met and married Jack there on October 4, 1963.

They had five children: Jack Jr (Kelli Jo), twin girls, Kathy Gleidt (Warren) and Kim Tippit (Darren), Kelley Rae Parker (Paul) and Jeremy (Dannelle).

They moved to Fairland, Oklahoma in the seventies and have made their home there since.

Karen served for a time as the city of Fairland's city clerk.

She got the nickname SueSue from her sister and niece, Janelle and Sherry.

She leaves her husband Jack, her five children, eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren, her three sisters, three nephews, three nieces, Uncle Bill, many cousins and extended family.

She passed away at Freeman Medical Center in Joplin, Missouri of cancer.

She was my sister.
