Cottage Grove - Mary Kirch, 65, Cottage Grove, passed away Feb. 8, 2018 at Agrace Hospice Care in Fitchburg, WI. "Mary Beth" was born in Algoma, WI on June 30, 1952, the fifth of seven children born to Elmer and Marguerite (Jenkins) Rye.
Mary Elizabeth Rye married Terry L. Kirch in Madison, WI on April 4, 1987. No children were born to them, but there were always cats in their household.
Mary is survived by her husband Terry; one sister Patricia Delforge (Dale Larsen), four brothers David (Pat) Rye, Terry (Sharon) Rye, Morris Rye and Paul Rye; numerous nieces, nephews and their families; all ten of her husband, Terry's siblings and their families (Kirch family from rural Mazomanie, WI); and cousins galore. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Richard Rye.
Family and friends may gather at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma, Monday, Feb. 19, 2018 from 11 AM until the time of services at 1 PM with Pastor Peter Mannoja officiating. Interment will take place at a later time in King, WI at the Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
