COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY – 10/22/2007
VITTITOE - Celia V., 76, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2007. She was a native of Munfordville, KY, the former Celie Jane Jaggers. She was a member of Ashby Lane Baptist Church and attended Resurrection Life Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Vittitoe. Survivors include her children, Gary Gibson, Donna Conner and Robert Vittitoe (Phyllis); grandchildren, Chad Thompson (Crisy), Nicole Clark (Chad), Tiffany Persful (Justin) and Alisha Vittitoe; eight great-grandchildren; and her sister, Betty Reece. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday, 11 a.m. 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society.
