Majorie “Big Moma” Allen, age 82, a resident of Dierks, Arkansas, died Wednesday, February 14, 2018, in Howard Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 4, 1935, in Dierks. She was a poultry farmer for 32 years and attended Mt. View Baptist Church and Assembly of God Church.
Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Hazel Stokes Wilson; her husband, Marlin Allen, Sr.; one brother, Herman Wilson; one sister, Bonnie Glover; and one son, Ray Allen.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, one daughter and son-in-law, one sister, one daughter-in-law, nine grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Allen will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 16, 2018, in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in Dierks. Burial will follow in Greens Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in Dierks.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 15th at the funeral home chapel in Dierks.
