He was born on May 10, 1940 in Coleman Texas to Gertie (Calder) and Truman Ragsdale, Sr.
Truman graduated from Zephyr High School in 1960.
He was a professional miner and worked for White Mines for over twenty years and several years for Vulcan Materials.
Truman was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Erline, his parents, his two sisters, Sara Collier and Thelma Brown and brother Otis Ragsdale.
