GRAND PRAIRIE - Paul Cooper, 58, a resident of Grand Prairie, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2007. Born Sept. 22, 1948, in Water Valley, Miss., he served in the United States Army as a paratrooper. He was a mechanical inspector for the city of Fort Worth. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Alice Champion and Sidney Thomas Cooper; brothers, Aubrey Frank Cooper and Billy Joe Cooper. Survivors: Wife of 38 years, Verlene Cooper; brother, Robert George Cooper; sisters, Alice Louise Jones, Paulette Walker (his twin), Karen Hoyle. Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home, Grand Prairie. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bean-Massey-Burge Chapel. Burial: Southland Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home.
