He retired from a career in sales and corporate management. After his retirement, he was a novelist and had written over 30 books. He is survived by his wife – Patricia Boldrey Reisert – who he married on November 5, 1955 in Richmond, Indiana. He is also survived by a daughter – Susan (Gene) Neese of Plano, Texas; three sons – Michael (Candelaria) Reisert of Elkhart, Indiana, Thomas C. Reisert and his fiancé- Sonya Davis – of Alabama, and Mark A. Reisert of Liberty, Indiana; 5 grandchildren – Holly and Alexander Neese of Plano, Texas, Michael Nicodemus Reisert of Seattle, Washington , Daniel Scott Reisert of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Kristopher Reisert of West Virginia. Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by a son – Timothy Aloysius Reisert.
