Mr. Charlie W. Ottinger, 94 of Fort White, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 5, 2017. He was born the middle child of five to the late Claude and Lennie Hux (sic) Conway Ottinger in Knox County, Tennessee. Mr. Ottinger was a World War II Veteran of the United States Navy and retired with 20 years of service in 1961. Following his retirement in 1961, he bought the family farm in Fort White. Mr. Ottinger was of the Baptist faith and a member of Elim Baptist Church in Fort White. He enjoyed working his farm and riding horses.
