Clyde Robert Scronce, age 98 of Lincolnton, passed away February, 13, 2018 at Carolinas HealthCare System Lincoln.
Born March 9, 1919 in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Walter John and Mary Jane Smith Scronce.
Clyde was a member of Crowell Memorial United Methodist Church and a World War II Army Veteran.
In addition to his parents, wife, Carrie Berryhill Scronce; son, Bobby Scronce; grandson, Jeff Keever; great-grandson, Nicholas Jenks; 4 brothers and 2 sisters preceded him in death.

The funeral service will be held, Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Crowell Memorial UMC in Lincolnton with Pastor Freida H. Hobson officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the church.
