Orlie L. Hogue, 94, a resident of the Burgin Nursing Manor for several months, died Saturday afternoon at the manor.

Funeral services were held in the Memorial Chapel of the Summers Funeral Home withRev. Ellis Dugger officiating. Interment was in the Washington Street Cemetery in Casey. Olney Lodge
No. 140, AF&AM held Masonic services at the funeral home.

Mr. Hogue was a native of Ashmore, son of George Hogue and Sarah Galbreath Hogue. He was married to Clare Thrasher, who preceded him in death in 1946. He had been a longtime employee of the Union Oil Co., coming to Olney early with the company and working in the construction phase of the industry. He was a member of the IOOF Lodge at Paris for more than 50 years, and a 50 year member of Towanda Lodge NO. 30, AF&AM at Towanda, Kan., and a member of the Consistory at Belleville.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Lee W. Hogue and Carmen Hogue of Olney.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Whitehouse, two infant grandchildren, five brothers, and a sister.
