Amon Evanoff, 91, husband of the late Peggy Ileen Evanoff, died Monday, February 12, 2018 at the Hospice Care Center. Born in Beattyville, KY, he was the son of the late Abe Evanoff and Flora Spencer Evanoff. He retired from IBM and construction. He was veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp., attended Lee County High School and was a member of Georgetown Church of God. Survivors are two sons, Keith (Nancy) Evanoff, Bowling Green and Curtis (Julie) Evanoff, Lexington; two daughters, Vanessa (Harry) Boone, Georgetown and Lisa Evanoff, Smyrna, TN, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a grandson. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Friday, Feb. 16 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. Funeral services will begin at 1pm Saturday, Feb. 17 at Old Union Christian Church. Burial immediately following services at Old Union Church Cemetery.
