Lawson M. Peters, 70, died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in an Alexandria hospital.

Remains are at the John Kramer and Son Funeral Home, with funeral arrangements incomplete.

He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Randolph Broussard of Alexandria, Mrs. Maude Beaird of Shreveport and Mrs. D. W. Gibson of Harrisonburg; and a brother, Orren N. Peters of Quitman.
