Edgar Dunnam, age 73, of Rt. 3, Grapeland, Texas died at his home on April 1, 1974. Mr. Dunnam, a retired farmer, was born August 21, 1900 in Grapeland and was a member of the Methodist church. Funeral services were held at Guiceland Chapel with burial following in Guiceland Cemetery. Pallbearers included George Gaines, Howard Dunnam Jr., Harold Starkey, Earnest Brown, Johnny Wilkins and Clyde Bedford. He married Zelma Pearl Wells in 1916 and is survived by her. He is also survived by daughters, Evelyn Lamb, and Elwanda Thedford; brothers, Theodore Dunnam, Woodrow Dunnam, Ross Dunnam, and Robert Dunnam; sisters, Iva Wells, and Willie Murdock; four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Callaway Funeral Home of Crockett was in charge of arrangements.
