Betty L. Buchanan, 75, Cloverdale, formerly of Greencastle, died Saturday March 24, 2007 at Mill Pond Health Campus, Greencastle.
Born Dec. 13, 1931 at Stileville, she was the daughter of Benjamin and Martha (Sims) Hanlon.
She was a member of Amo Baptist Church.
She married Hugh Edward "Buck" Buchanan on Oct. 26, 1963. He died April 18, 1990.
Surviving are four daughters, Sharon Denny and husband Dave, Greencastle, Sheila Jones, Indianapolis, Karla Thomas and husband Bob, Kokomo, and Becky Elkins and husband Toby, Greencastle; three sons, Dennis Lambert and wife Pam, Paragon, Donald Buchanan and wife Denisa, Tennessee, and Ronald P. Buchanan and wife Peggy, Cloverdale; sister Violet Rogers, Fillmore; 23 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Bessie Eberhardt and Dorothy Allen, brother James Hanlon, and a grandson.
