Fannie's Story
Fannie Mae Garner, 92, of Keene, Texas went to be with the Lord on February 7, 2018 at Town Hall Estates in Keene.
Her life celebration will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, February 12, 2018 at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne, Texas. Interment will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park in Cleburne. A visitation will be held from 6 8 p.m. Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Chris Garner, Jason Lancaster, Brian Archer, Justin Archer, Jordan Williams and Kevin Fox.
Fannie was born September 10, 1925 in Osceola, Texas, to parents, Clem and Mabel (Cashion) Skiles.
She was a member of Lane Prairie Baptist in Cleburne. Fannie loved her church, her pastor, and was a prayer warrior. She took every opportunity to talk about God.
Fannie was a homemaker and loved being with her family. She loved to laugh!
Fannie was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, James Wayne Lancaster, who was killed in war; second husband, Albert H. Garner, Sr.; three brothers; one sister; and a loving daughter-in-law, Laverne Lancaster.
She is survived by son, James Lancaster of Cleburne; daughter, Dorothy Williams and husband, Danny, of Gladewater, Texas; son Albert Garner and wife, Jeannie, of Joshua, Texas; and daughter, Evelyn Archer and husband, Jerry, of Godley, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren.
