Anne Mae Busick Conklin, 82, died Tuesday, April 7, 1998, at Wesley Long Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 1998, at Liberty Wesleyan Church on Hwy. 158 in Summerfield.

Mrs Conklin was born to William Stiner and Emeline Pritchett Busick in Guilford County. She was a wonderful Christian woman, a member of Liberty Wesleyan Church, and worked as an Optician for Dr. Robert J. Echerd for 28 years.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Harvey M. Conklin of the home; daughter, Raynita C. Kivett of Kannapolis; sons, Dale LeGrande Conklin of Greensboro, Delano M. Conklin of Burlington; sisters, Opal Westbrook of Browns Summitt, Margaret Nursey of St. Peterburg, FA.; brother, Russell Busick of Browns Summit; grandchildren, Chris Kivett, Kelly Kivett, Dale L. Conklin, Jr., Chad Kivett, Kevin Conklin, and Maria Conklin; two great-grandsons, Ryan Kivett and Nicholas Kivett.

A reception of friends will immediately follow the memorial service, at the church.
