JAGGERS, LAWRENCE, 89, of Louisville, passed away December 25, 2013, at Wesley Manor Healthcare Center. He was born March 18, 1924, in Edmonson County, KY, in the community of Cove Hollow, the son of Roscoe and Donna Minton Jaggers.
He was retired from American Air Filter and a member of Cove Hollow United Baptist Church.
He is survived and will forever be sadly missed by his daughter, Theresa Jaggers Christopher; one step-granddaughter, Angela Giangrossi; and two step-great grandchildren, Andrea and John Giangrossi of Leesburg, FL; and one sister, Avis Brooks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donna and Roscoe; wife, Alberta Jaggers; son-in-law, Jeff Christopher; twin sister, Florence; brothers, Earl, Loice, Coy, Roy, and Conrad Jaggers; sisters, Audrey, Gladys Hazelip, Hazel Bennett, Connie White, Dean Sanders, Joyce Crowder, and Alma Brooks.
His funeral service will be noon CDT Monday at Cove Hollow United Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Schmid Funeral Home in Mt. Washington and after 10 am CDT Monday at the church. Theresa would like to thank Wesley Manor Healthcare Center for their wonderful care and requests that all expressions of sympathy be made to Wesley Manor.
