Julius “Vick” LeDoux, Sr., 87, of Orangefield, Texas, passed away on February 7, 2018.

Vick is survived by his loving wife, Patricia LeDoux, of Vidor; brother, Ronald “Rollo” LeDoux and wife Wanda, of Orangefield; children, Vickie Scales and husband Edward, of Orangefield, Tina Wise and husband Clay, of Mauriceville, Rebecca Ledford and husband Larry, of Orangefield, Julius LeDoux, Jr. and wife Diane, of Little Cypress, and Rose Marie Philpott, of Oklahoma; step-children, Tammy Reid, of Vidor, Chris Reid and wife Julie, of Vidor; along with many wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren to remember him dearly.

Vick was born in Basile, Louisiana on January 11, 1931, to Alexon LeDoux and Edna (Fusilier) LeDoux. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, 101st Airborne Division and The Screaming Eagles. Vick retired from Pipefitters Local 195 and Boilermakers Local 587 after many loyal years. He loved his family dearly and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial gathering will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
