Mr. Marriott, a son of Tom J. Marriott and Emily (Alexander) Marriott, was born Sept. 28, 1893, in Van Buren County, Iowa. On April 20, 1915, he married Sarah Edith Hansen, at Chillicothe. Mr. Marriott, a retired farmer, was a member of the Calvary Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. and Mrs. Marriott resided in Chillicothe until 1961 when he retired and they moved to their Trenton home.
