Lowry Laughlin, 66, former superintendent of the Trader's Cotton Compress here, died Sunday after an illness of two years. A resident of Oklahoma for 31 years, Laughlin first came to Oklahoma in 1906. He lived for a short time in Guthrie. Laughlin was born in Rockwall, TX.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs Jewel Beville, of the home address at 1101 NE 15th St; Mrs Glenn Laws, 411 NW 22nd St; Mrs Earl Johnson, Tulsa; and Miss Vera K. Laughlin, 434 1/2 NW 35th St; and three sons, John Laughlin, 2712 NW 27th St; Charles Laughlin, Phoenix, AZ; and Cecil Laughlin, Hobart. Funeral services are to be announced by Smith & Kernke.
April 20, 1943: Services will be in the Smith & Kernke Funeral chapel. Interment, Rose Hill Cemetery.
