Richard D. Ernst, 74, of Bradley, formerly of Peotone, died suddenly Saturday, February 3, 2018, at his home.
He was born August 22, 1943, in Chicago. He was a US Army veteran serving in Vietnam. He was formerly a driver for a bakery in Monee.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Wolkow Ernst, whom he married on September 24, 1977, in Crete; a son, Brian Ernst of Bradley; a daughter, Karen (Kevin) Cosmen of Peotone; and a sister, Donna.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Burl Wallace Ernst.
