On this day, Monday February 5, 2018, Margie Lucille O'Dell Fergison 89, continued on her journey beyond the moon to meet with her beloved husband, Dean, to travel on to their eternal rest. Margie was born on Monday, November 12, 1928 on a farm in Bovee, South Dakota, daughter of the late Grace Amanda (Munn) and Alfred Henry Odell. Margie married Gerald Dean Fergison December 27, 1946. She was a devoted mother to their six children, a domestic engineer, a care giver to her father and sister Ethel O'Dell. Margie enjoyed her flowers, her friends and their Tuesday night get together, her family and grandkids and great grandkids. She was preceded in death by husband, Dean, her parents, two brothers, Owen, and Wayne Odell, six sisters, Charlotte O'Dell, Ethel O'Dell, Pearl Admire, Phyllis Penland, Violet Reum, and Faye Wyss. Survivors include, sisters Jean Munger and Nellie Mitchell, her children Linda (Jim) Turner, Clarksdale, MO, Joan (Larry) Longnecker, Seattle, WA, Patti (David) Elrod, Dean Jr. (LaDonna) Fergison, Rodney (Joy) Fergison, all of St. Joseph, and Leann (Dave) Courtney, Clarksdale, MO. Fourteen grandkids, twenty nine great grandkids, and three great great grandkids, all because two people fell in love. Funeral services: 10:00 am, Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Rupp Funeral Home, Rev. James Barnett officiating, The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM, Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, St. Joseph, Missouri.
