Jose Dionicio Infante, age 71, died on March 13, 1959, of natural causes and had been under a physicians care for heart disease.

Jose was born on April 15, 1888, in San Nicholas De Tolentino, La Huacana, Michoacan, Mexico, to Jose De Jesus Infante and Maria Del Refugio Gomes Infante. He immigrated to the United states in 1910 at the age of 21.

Jose spent most of his adult life working in the Minatare, Nebraska, area as a laborer.
He will be remembered for the way he was always there for you with a warm heart and kind reassuring words. He was a supportive person of the community and well loved by all who knew him. He will always be remembered for caring for Virginia Lopez Marquez until her death in 1931.

These words cannot sum up the life of such a unique individual, but it is a glimpse into knowing him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Maria Infante and many friends in the Minatare, Nebraska community.

Perhaps these words serve as a final gift he can give us all . . . having a life well lived. He accomplished everything he wished for in his seventy one incredible years. Even though his time here was cut short, no doubt he is still inspiring us all and will continue to do so for years to come.
