CAMERON, MO-Donna Lynn Bromley, 56, of Cameron, passed away January 18, 2018, in St. Joseph.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2018, at Turner Family Funeral Home in Maysville, Missouri, with Pastor Paul Pribil, of Weatherby United Methodist Church, officiating.

Christian burial will follow at Shambaugh-Cope Cemetery, in rural Weatherby.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2018, at the Turner Family Funeral Home in Maysville.

Donna was born in Cameron, to Leslie and Dorothy (Grace) Bromley, on April 2, 1961.

Donna was a loving mother to her three children, Diana Walker, 31, Danielle Nicholas, 19, and Aaron Hamer, 16, and cherished her parents, Leslie and Dorothy Bromley. Family brought great joy and happiness to her life.

he graduated from Maysville High School in 1979.

Donna attended Missouri Western and went on to become an elementary music teacher.

She taught for over 18 years, the majority of which was at Parkview Elementary in Cameron, and substitute taught in many of the surrounding area schools.

She had a strong love for music of every kind and taught piano and voice lessons, played in the Cameron City Band, directed a few Cameron High School musicals, and participated in Cameron community plays.

As a young girl, she played piano for the Weatherby Methodist Church, and many years a an adult played at the Cameron First Baptist Church and sang in the choir.

She was the author and illustrator of a children's book, dedicated to her son, produced a CD, and loved to write songs and poems. She was a talented woman.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leslie Bromley.

Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Bromley; her two daughters, Diana Walker and Danielle Nicholas and her son, Aaron Hamer.

Memorial contributions may be made to the donors choice, in care of the Turner Family Funeral Home, which has been entrusted to handle the funeral arrangements.
