Mrs. Leora Slote, 75, formerly Mrs. W. F. Lamson, passed away July 9th at Lincoln. The Lamsons lived at Milford a good many years, leaving here in 1918. Mrs. Slote lived at 2717 Starr St, Lincoln. Burial was in Lincoln Memorial Park Friday July 12th. Funeral services were held at East Lincoln Christian Church of which Mrs. Slote was a member for many years.
Mrs. Slote was born at Elmwood, moved to Milford in 1902. Surviving are her husband Garrett Slote of Lincoln, daughter, Mrs. Filbert Lamson of Denver, son Harold Lamson of Denver and Reafford Lamson of Lincoln, sister Mrs. Rose Bishop of Port Fernando, California, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The Lee Lamsons of Memphis, Tennessee attended the funeral.
