Chester Eldin "Pudie" Armitage, 80, Flora died about 7:30 PM on Friday at Clay County Hospital, Flora.
Born May 6, 1909 in Sumner, he was the son of Wilbur and Bonnie Westall Armitage. Retired after 32 years with the Atomic Energy Commission, he was a member of Pipefitter Local 648, Pocatello, Idaho and was an Air Force veteran of World War II.
Sept 8, 1932 he married Barbara "Babe" Rayl in Olney and she survies. Also surviving a daughter, Mrs. Bill "Rae" Plumlee, Flora; two sisters, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
