Robert "Bob" H. Hegamin, Sr.

Born Dec. 28, 1926 in Hongkew, Shanghai, China to Bessie Lee and William Oscar Hegamin. He died on Jan. 2, 2017 in Edmonds, WA one day after a joyous celebration of his 90th birthday with family and friends.

Bob served in the U.S. Air Force from 1948-1952. He attended Columbia University in N.Y. and was a graduate of Seattle University. He worked at Jet Propulsion Lab where he was involved with the Lunar Orbiter Project, Boeing, and for Seattle City Light as an Electrical Engineer from which he retired after more than 20 years in 1989.

Bob is survived by his wife, Deborah; six great kids: sons, Robert Jr. (Carol) of Kent, and Milo of Edmonds; his daughters Lauren McClure of Lynnwood, Mai (Roger) Moller of Bothell, Michaela (Michael) Jackson of Kent, and Myava (Steve) Kinner of Edmonds; 14 grandkids and 8 great grandkids.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Wed., Jan. 11 at Beck's Tribute Center, 405 Fifth Ave. S in Edmonds.
