Mrs. Emma Cain Shrum, 71, died at 11:05 p.m. Friday (4 Jun 1971) at Union Hospita., Terre Haute, (Ind,). She was a member of the St. Bernice First Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include her husband, William; one daughter, Mrs. Erline Dillon, Garrett, Kan.; one stepson, William Shurm, Casyville, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Skitt, Santa Cruse, Calif., and Mrs. Marie Cassidy, Detroit, Mich.; one brother, Howard Cain, Southgate, Calif., one nephew, Lt. Robert Skitt, Terre Haute post, Indiana State Police; a niece, Mrs. William Lutz, Vincennes, Ind.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Arrangements are pending at the Karanovich Funeral Home.
