Louis H. Balot Jr. passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, in Philadelphia. He was 82. Louis was born in New Orleans, and was a longtime resident of Bucks County. He worked for Orkin Pest Control for 42 years. Louis was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Croydon Seniors, and Seton Seniors club. He was also a U.S. Veteran, and served in the U.S. Navy. Louis loved gardening, sports, trips to the casino, and parades.
Louis is survived by his beloved wife, Bernadette Burton Balot; his children, Angela Wallace (Edward), Michael Balot (Elyce), Rene Balot (Yoko); his daughter-in-law, Cindy Balot; his step-children, Bernadette Clune (David), Charles M. Burton Jr. (Denise), Dennis Burton (Shirley), Jeanette Smith (Ron); his sister, Edith “Toni” Balot; and 20 grandchildren Louis was preceded in death by his parents, Louis H. Sr and Dorothy Balot; and his son, Louis H. Balot III.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 1, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church 601 Bristol Pike, Croydon, PA 19021. Mass at 11. Rite of Committal will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
