Edith M. Terry, age 98, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Born in Lawrence County, Alabama Thursday, July 3, 1919 she is preceded in death by her parents, James Wesley and Harriet Burden Thrasher; husband, James Earl Terry and son, James Earl Terry, Jr.
Mrs. Terry was a homemaker; a seamstress and she enjoyed fishing; she is survived by her daughters, Jean T. Giffin and Zilpha (Troy) Lambert; grandchildren, Terrilyn Craig, Suzette (Perry) Price, Timothy Giffin, James Theron (Dawn) Lambert;; Pamela (Wade) Garrett; great-grandchildren, Andrea (AL) Roberson, David Craig, James Sperazzo, Ranger Garrett, Case Garrett, Colette Price, Bridgette Tomlinson; great-great-grandchildren, Devin Craig, Tyler Roberson, Kenna Roberson.
A celebration of life will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2018 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Frizzell officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 at Forest Lawn 1150 South Dickerson Road Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church of Christ Disaster Relief Effort 410 Allied Drive Nashville, Tennessee, 37211
